That box was designed by Charles Williams as part of a project we're collaborating on. There are a huge number of amazing CSS3 samples out there, but I wanted to try my hand at some of the hotness for myself. A brief P.S.: as some people have noted, I could have used a font-glyph for the magnifying glass. I got lazy.
